Herringe bone parquet

The herringbone installation of parquet floors is currently very trendy. Typical of this herringbone installation technique is the recurring pattern, which is reminiscent of the arrangement of bones on the backbone of a fish. Parquet planks of identical size are laid at right angles to each other at their ends. This creates an interesting visual effect, as the light refracts differently on the parquet strips which are at 90° to each other. This classic parquet pattern can be combined well with both modern and traditional living styles. Interesting variations on the classic 90° herringbone are the French herringbone 45°, the Hungarian herringbone 60° or the double herringbone 90°.
