Bouls Weymouth Pine 80 mm
The Weymouth pine is native to eastern North America, but also to Europe. Its colour is yellowish brown with yellowish white sapwood. It is a plain wood with broad but indistinct annual rings and very many resin channels.

Occurrence
Weymouth pine is found in eastern North America as well as in Europe.
Trunk and bark
This tree can grow up to 50 m high and reach a diameter of 1.5 m.
Characteristics and wood colour
The wood is yellowish brown in colour and has a yellowish white sapwood. The annual rings are hardly visible. In longitudinal section, many shiny brown resin ducts can be seen.
